
CARBO, the leading provider of proppant to the oil and gas industry, hired CS Creative to determine the brand strategy for their new subsidiary consulting group. The newly formed business segment offers engineering consulting expertise to clients looking for solutions to best optimize their oil and gas reservoirs.
Alongside CARBO engineers and marketing executives, CS Creative began the brand process by conducting internal and competitive research to get a full perspective of the marketing landscape. Analyzing the results led to creating their brand positioning statement and creating their new business name, StrataGen Engineering.
“CARBO chose the name StrataGen for their consulting group because it spoke to the group’s expertise, reputation for strategic solutions and long-term legacy in the industry,” said Tanya Conovaloff, director of accounts for CS Creative.
CS Creative has completed StrataGen’s logo, identity package and tagline development. Currently, the brand’s marketing communications style and brand guidelines are being created. Next, CS Creative will design the group’s website, ad campaign and corporate brochure.
