The Business Marketing Association (BMA) of Houston has honored CS Creative with the 2010 Lantern Award for the 2nd year in a row. This year’s award is in the category of “Rebranding Campaigns”. CS Creative developed a “house of brands” strategy for CARBO, a world leader in oil and gas productivity solutions. The rebranded site was launched earlier this year at www.carboceramics.com.
The Lantern Awards is Texas’ premiere awards event recognizing the finest in B2B work for more than 2 decades. Its sole purpose is to highlight top-quality creative and strategic business-to-business communications. It is hosted by the BMA Houston, the only leading professional association dedicated to connecting B2B marketers with new ideas, knowledge and people.
A panel of three recognized business-to-business marketing professionals judged each entry and named the finalists. CS Creative earned the top award based on the AIDA principles – how well the rebranded CARBO website generated Attention, Interest, Desire and Action from their targeted business audience.
“The redesign of CARBO’s website was just the first step in an integrated rebranding campaign,” stated Kevin Steigman, creative services director for CS Creative. “Printed sales collateral, training materials, online presentation materials and brand standards are being developed now. We are confident the entire campaign will be as successful as the initial site launch.”
In addition to winning the Lantern Award, CARBO’s rebranded website achieved substantial business goals, including a 28% increase in pages visited per user and 435% increase in online responses. CARBO’s quarterly revenue increased 36% and 61% in the 1st and 2nd quarters following the site launch.
